Gary & Debbie Inman have been residents of
Prince Edward Island for over 55 years. As our guests, you may draw on
our expertise to make your visit the perfect holiday! We offer something for
everyone whether you are a single traveler, senior couple, or a family.
Choose from our King Suites, Honeymoon Suites with Jacuzzi,
Chalet style cottage, or simply a room in our
Inn. Briarwood is located on a secluded lane leading to the serene dock river in Western Prince Edward Island. We are located 5 minutes away from the town of Alberton where you can shop, dine, or visit the museum. We are also conveniently close to the Rodd Mill River Golf Course, Confederation Trail, and miles of red sand beaches, bring along your Kayak or Canoe for a day adventure touring the Cascumpec Bay and Mill River. If interested in venturing further Gary & Debbie are more than helpful and will assist in planning your day on Prince Edward Island.

| Briarwood Inn is an award winning heritage home built in 1911 from the profits of the Island Silver Fox breeding industry. Purchased by the Gary and Debbie in 1994 and moved to it’s present location, the Inn has been lovingly restored. It has earned the Inman’s an Architectural Preservation Award.. |

The design of the Inn is a curious mixture of elements From Queen Ann Revival and late Victorian building styles. The Inn consists of 3 stories finished throughout with hardwood floors, doors, and trim. The impressive front entrance, stairwell, and landing are all paneled using Birds Eye Maple fitted from wooden pegs.. |
